USC Helps to Design Next Generation Gyrocycle

Undergraduate thru PhD students at the University of Southern Califorina Viterbi School of Engineering are helping to design the next generation Molnari Gyrocycle.
The new Molnari G2 has triple the engine power of the earlier Molnari GT model, and a streamlined body will be installed. Some design drawings are being produced by mechanical and aeronautical engineering students at USC with guidance from the Molnari staff.
200 MPH on the ground/40 MPG; 110+ MPH in the air are the expected performance numbers; safe, legal, and affordable are priorities.
To inquire, email the AME Department advisors.
Classes are being offered via USC Viterbi Engineering.
See the Molnari G2 Cycle - May 21, 2011
On May 21st and 22nd, the Molnari G2 will be displayed at the Maker Faire in San Mateo, CA.
Inventor Dezso Molnar will give a presentation about fabricating the Molnari GT, answer questions, and explain plans to modify the G2 for flight operations on the "Innovator's Stage", Sunday, May 22nd.
Gyrocycle Escapes Torndao
Lakeland, Florida
"Thanks for the concerned calls today!
"Lakeland was just hit by a tornado. A huge tree branch wiped out the GreenSpace's main tent. Fortunately, the Gyrocycle is resistant to wind gusts on the ground, so today we fared much better than many winged planes; some destroyed within meters of our tent.
No major injuries, and so the show goes on. Opens tomorrow at 8 am.
Hope to see you here!!
- Dezso"
